June 2022: A non-financial operation

This month my update is shorter than I wanted to make because I was busy with other things. I was on the waiting list for a minor surgery (nothing serious but under general anesthesia), and yesterday I had that surgery. Fortunately I was able to go home quickly, but I’m taking it easy for a few days.

Last week I started a ‘crypto experiment’, but I didn’t have enough time to work this into my statements. Because I want to get my update out on time, you’ll have to wait another month for that, so this update is a lot shorter than I’d like.

Portfolio overview June 2022

Last month my portfolio decreased by € -4,649.16 and my average rate of return over all platforms is 10.8%. The table below shows the details for each category.

Passive income per month

The extreme highs and lows on the stock market prevent me from adequately determine the passive income that my investments can generate when I stop working. That is why I now calculate the 6-month moving average of my passive income.

You can find my definition of passive income on my portfolio page.

Activities

To show you how little effort is involved when investing via crowdfunding and crowdlending I have added an overview of the manual actions in the last month:

PlatformDateActivity
 BulkestateJune 3Withdrawal: € 200
 CrowdestateJune 3Withdrawal: € 250
 Reinvest24June 3Withdrawal: € 150
 Saxo BankJune 7Aegon sold (200@5.00)
 Saxo BankJune 7Withdrawal: € 20,000
 EstateGuruJune 11Withdrawal: € 500
 INGJune 22Deposited funds: € 100
INGJune 22Amundi Prime europe UCITS ETF bought (2@22.924)
INGJune 23WisdomTree Physical Silver ETF bought (2@18.73)

I did check the platforms every now and then, but this was purely for fun. It wasn’t necessary to get these interest payments and return rates.

Crowdlending

I have grouped by P2P platforms into two groups, one containing all platforms based in Western Europe and one containing all platforms based in Eastern Europe. In the table below you can see the balance between them.

CategoryGainsXIRRValueDeposited
Crowdlending (west)€ -13.066.1%€ 8,425€ -36
Crowdlending (east)€ 238.71-0.9%€ 42,980€ -1,100
Crowdlending€ 225.650.0%€ 51,405€ -1,136

Crowdlending (west)

In the table and paragraphs below you can see which platforms make up my “Western Europe group”.

 Flender

This month there was a small write-off at Flender. This platform offers no buyback guarantee, but there are so few write-offs that it doesn’t have a big effect on my return.

Last month my account value at Flender decreased by € 33.91, and my average return rate is now 5.4%.

 Funding Circle NL

My investments at Funding Circle NL returned € 4.10 last month, and my average return rate is now 8.7%.

 Lender & Spender

My return is super stable with the Dutch Lender & Spender. My investment is automatically spread over thousands of loans from Dutch consumers, and although the return is “only” around 4%, I think it is my most favorite platform. I no longer dive into the higher interest rates and returns, because there is also much more risk involved.

My investments at Lender & Spender returned € 11.64 last month, and my average return rate is now 3.8%.

 Max Crowdfund

An investment was canceled at Max Crowdfund, so I now have 168 euros available. Here you can only invest in multiples of 100 euros, so today or tomorrow I will invest in one of the 2 projects available now. Both are English projects with 10% interest, but the maturities are 9 and 12 months. Normally I choose the shortest term so as not to have money tied up for too long, but I now opt for the 12 months because the LTV is a lot lower (68% against 90%).

My investments at Max Crowdfund returned € 5.11 last month, and my average return rate is now 4.9%.

 Bondora

After having remained the same for 4 months, the average return of all investors at Bondora has decreased again by a tenth of a percentage point to 7.3%. Not necessarily a worrying development, but one to keep an eye on.

My investments at Bondora returned € 19.93 last month, and my average return rate is now 6.8%.

Click on the graph to visit my Bondora overview page

 Brickstarter

My free amount at Brickstarter has increased to €49.32 which is a bit frustrating as the minimum investment amount is €50. There are two projects available this month, but I still have to wait for the next interest payment.

My investments at Brickstarter returned € 9.36 last month, and my average return rate is now 4.9%.

Click on the graph to visit my Brickstarter overview page

 Bulkestate

At Bulkestate I finally received interest again, after 3 months without income here. At the beginning of this month, I withdrew 200 euros here to bring this platform closer to my own limit of 2500 euros. I even think that with Bulkestate I will be a lot below that limit, given the poor communication, among other things, I see this as a platform with a much higher risk.

My investments at Bulkestate returned € 12.91 last month, and my average return rate is now 4.7%.

Click on the graph to visit my Bulkestate overview page

 Crowdestate

Also at Crowdestate I made some free withdrawals this month, and next month I will probably be able to withdraw some more. This platform was a bit above my general limit of 2500 euros for Eastern European platforms, but it is now close to that limit.

My investments at Crowdestate returned € 9.25 last month, and my average return rate is now 8.3%.

Click on the graph to visit my Crowdestate overview page

 Crowdestor

At Crowdestor there is now almost 50 euros uninvested, maybe I will invest this in Flex. I do see this platform as riskier, but transfers have always been on time and with Flex you can always access your money right away. And everything I have here is already pure profit, so no real risk here.

My investments at Crowdestor returned € 4.82 last month, and my average return rate is now 13.1%.

Click on the graph to visit my Crowdestor overview page

 EstateGuru

EstateGuru is now below my limit for Eastern Europe. I do have faith in this platform, I have also invested in it myself through Seedrs, but I have simply stated that I do not want to have more than 2500 euros in each Eastern European platform, so I will apply that here too.

My investments at EstateGuru returned € 6.44 last month, and my average return rate is now 9.6%.

 Inrento

Normally, the interest received at EvoEstate was quickly transferred to my account at Inrento, after the merger of these two platforms. A tenner has been waiting for a few days now, without being transferred. Not that it is in such a hurry, because even with that tenner I am still far from the minimum investment amount of 100 euros. And that minimum has already been reduced for the investors of EvoEstate, because for other investors the minimum amount here is even 500 euros. That makes this platform not so suitable for small investors, even though the platform is licensed. It then takes a very long time before you can reinvest the interest received.

My investments at Inrento returned € 1.58 last month, and my average return rate is now 5.8%.

Click on the graph to visit my Inrento overview page

 Iuvo

Last month my account value at Iuvo did not change, and my average return rate is now 6.8%.

Click on the graph to visit my Iuvo overview page

 Mintos

From now on you can only invest in notes at Mintos, the transition from claims to notes is now fully completed. This transition Mintos had to do because of the license and the legislation, is only good news for investors. Notes are packages of 6 to 20 loans, they are regulated and partly covered by the guarantee fund.

My investments at Mintos returned € 77.31 last month, and my average return rate is now 9.9%.

Click on the graph to visit my Mintos overview page

 NEO Finance

NEO Finance was one of the first licensed platforms, and it’s almost as boring as a bank. But that is of course a good thing for investors. My return continues to rise slowly here, the initial costs of the extra guarantees have now been paid.

My investments at NEO Finance returned € 12.34 last month, and my average return rate is now 4.0%.

Click on the graph to visit my NEO Finance overview page

 PeerBerry

I have nothing to complain about PeerBerry, it’s stable and the returns are fine.

My investments at PeerBerry returned € 11.04 last month, and my average return rate is now 10.1%.

Click on the graph to visit my PeerBerry overview page

 Reinvest24

At Reinvest24 there was a very luxurious situation this month, I don’t think there were ever so many projects available to invest in at the same time.

Unfortunately, the minimum investment amount is 100 euros, so it will take another 2 months before I can invest.

My investments at Reinvest24 returned € 17.49 last month, and my average return rate is now 6.6%.

Click on the graph to visit my Reinvest24 overview page

 Robocash

The Robocash platform is based in the EU, in Croatia, but the loans are not provided in the EU. This mainly concerns loans in Southeast Asia. In any case, the return is fine, and not so high that I classify it as a high risk.

My investments at Robocash returned € 12.94 last month, and my average return rate is now 12.6%.

 TFG Crowd

Last month my account value at TFG Crowd did not change, and my average return rate is now 12.4%.

Click on the graph to visit my TFG Crowd overview page

 TWINO

My return at TWINO has been tight at 9.7% for about 2 years, so you can call that stable. The platform is also licensed, so investor funds are partly protected by law (up to 90%, with a maximum of 20,000 euros).

My investments at TWINO returned € 16.95 last month, and my average return rate is now 9.7%.

My investments at Viainvest returned € 26.35 last month, and my average return rate is now 11.9%.

 CrowdAboutNow

Last month my account value at CrowdAboutNow did not change, and my average return rate is still 0.0%. The first interest payment for my loan to the LoC Brewery is expected in December.

 ING

At ING I made the usual deposit and purchases again. The value has fallen considerably, but that has allowed me to make the purchases at a much more favorable price. That is the advantage of regular purchases, you average the costs. The ratio is now 47.3% economics and 52.7% precious metals, the deposit is exactly the same in both categories.

Yesterday I received €27.85 in dividend for my iShares AEX UCITS ETFs, which is of course nice to have.

Last month my account value at ING decreased by € 145.79, and my average return rate is now 9.4%.

 Saxo Bank

At Saxo Bank I withdrew a large part of the profit. My lease car contract will expire next month, and the company I work for will stop with lease cars, so I have to buy a car myself.

Last month my account value at Saxo Bank decreased by € 2,234.85, and my average return rate is now 89.8%.
